Here's what you can expect when we collaborate:
1. The Contract: Before anything else, we'll get a contract in place. I believe in protecting both of us from the start, so nothing moves forward until we've both reviewed and agreed to every detail. This keeps our project clear, fair, and stress-free from day one.
2. Rough Sketches: Once we're locked in, the fun begins! I dive straight into rough sketches to explore layout, composition, and blocking.
3. Refined Sketches: From there, I usually develop 3–5 refined sketches so you have real choices. I put genuine care into each one,
because I want you to walk away with the best version of your vision.
4. Inking: Once you've chosen the sketch you love, I ink it with precision and send it back for one final light review.
Your approval matters at every stage, and this is your chance to make sure everything feels right before we go further.
5. Color: Next, I'll develop a palette and get it in front of you for approval before moving on.
6. Shading & Final Details: This is where the piece really comes alive. I add shading, depth, and all the finishing touches.
7. Delivering Value: You'll notice this example was made in individual sections and then assembled together. Every decision I make is in service of giving you the most out of your investment. This particular client needed their piece to work across many different size ratios, so building it in sections meant it could flex and fit wherever they needed it most.
Going the extra mile isn't an afterthought, it's how I work. That might mean clean, versatile compositions, multiple color variations, or delivering formats that give you true freedom in how you use your art.
No matter what your story is, I want it to be told right.
Here are some more examples from other projects. Enjoy!
